All of these products contain electrolytes which are lost during diarhea, vomiting, and excessive sweating or panting. No, we do not manufacture a line of vitamin waters for pets. While we have been asked by customers for this type of product, we feel that most reputable pet food manufacturers include a balanced level of standard vitamins and minerals in their feeds. Each line of COOL PET® Fortified Liquid Treats includes a targeted group of nutrients NOT found in standard pet foods.

This depends on the species as well as the individual pet. However, on each bottle, the recommended feeding methods are clearly depicted for that species. In general, we recommend first trying the product over dry food to make a tasty gravy. We also recommend freezing the product in ice cube trays and the providing the frozen holistic treats to your pet. You can also feed the product like a drink by pouring it right in your pet’s water feeder/bowl. Be sure to try all methods applicable to your pet's species (as recommended on the product labels) and vary the temperature of the product (i.e. room temperature or chilled) to see how your pet likes COOL PET® the best.

While tablets, capsules, and powders, are typically designed to be supplements that require some sort of “force feeding” or have to be “hidden” in some sort of carrier before going down the hatch, COOL PET® Fortified Liquid Treats are holistic treats for your pets. So, say good bye to the days of finding week old half licked pills underneath the kitchen counter. With COOL PET®, you know your pet is getting (and enjoying) the nutritional support you are giving him or her. In addition, COOL PET® Liquid Treats are absorbed faster and more efficiently in your pet’s body than solid dosage supplements. One reason for this is that the COOL PET® Liquid Treats all have highly purified water as a base versus numerous binding agents that are necessary when manufacturing tablets and capsules.

While it is well known that adequate hydration is key for pets with diabetes, it is important to consult your veterinarian before introducing any new feed items to a pet with a health condition.

Every ingredient in each product is listed on the product label. As each one of our COOL PET® Fortified Liquid Treats has different ingredients/formulations, it would be impossible to list all ingredients for each product here. We specifically formulated all of the COOL PET® Fortified Liquid Treats to allow for zero harmful effects should your pet ingest the entire bottle in a single serving. However, each COOL PET® Fortified Liquid Treat does have a suggested daily intake on the product label that is based upon both optimum levels of benefit and how much a pet of a specific size will typically ingest on his/her own.

It took ABC over two years to develop our initial line, the COOL PET® Fortified Liquid Treat Hydration Formulas. Much of this time was involved with independent palatability (taste) trials that required reformulating our products until the flavors were right. We made sure that the majority of pets in our trials craved the taste of our products prior to each and every product launch. While it is true that not 100% of the pets out there seem to crave our product upon initial feeding, a high percentage of pets do. If your pet does not seem to like the product, try all the suggested feeding methods for your particular pet as printed on the product bottles (e.g. over dry food, frozen into fortified ice treats, or directly into the pet’s water bowl). Also, try chilling or heating the product to find out how your pet likes it the best as each pet is different. As when introducing any new feed to your pet, we highly suggested starting with just a little bit of the product and then increasing the amount over a few days. This method of introduction will naturally get your pet's senses and stomach used to the new feed item.

First and foremost, all the ingredients we use for our products are safe and approved for HUMAN consumption. Therefore, the quality of the raw materials are typically better than what you will find in other pet products. For example, the water we use in our COOL PET® Fortified Liquid Treats is a highly purified type of water that no other manufacture of similar products can claim. The quality of water we use in all of our products is consistent with that of the water used in human pharmaceutical manufacturing. Although our products are not pharmaceutical products, we believe that the best possible grade of water is a necessity for manufacturing our COOL PET® Fortified Liquid Treats. In addition, our products have been tested and are used by veterinarians and government agencies that use animals, so you can be sure that our products stand up to the test. Lastly, we proudly manufacture and test here in the U.S.A., where we know quality is paramount!

All of our products can be stored for up to two years on the shelf if stored at room temperature and out of direct sunlight. Once opened, the products should be stored in the refrigerator and will last for up to two weeks.

While each of our products is formulated specifically for the intended pet (as specified on the product label), it will not harm your pet if he/she consumes a COOL PET® Fortified Liquid Treat not intended to be fed to him/her. However, always check the ingredients on product label to be sure that nothing in the product should not be fed to your particular pet.

Pets do not need the amounts of sugar in typical sports/electrolyte drinks. The high levels in these people drinks are mainly for taste benefits. Our COOL PET® Fortified Liquid Treat Hydration Formulas have less than half the sugar of these drinks for humans. However, it is necessary to have some sugar (carbohydrates)in electrolyte replacement drinks to facilitate (speed up)fluid intake (i.e. hydration).

Not only are COOL PET® Fortified Liquid Treats veterinary recommended, many veterinarians are using our products in their practices today.

Despite the fact that the largest ingredient in all of the COOL PET® Fortified Liquid Treats is an extremely high quality grade of water, it is advisable to always provide free-choice access to plain water at all times.

Yes, you can. In fact, the reason we use pharmaceutical grade product bottles versus much cheaper water bottles is that we heat the product to extremely high temperatures during production to ensure product safety. Typical thin walled water bottles do not fare well when exposed to hot or freezing temperatures. However, we still highly recommend that you put the product in a container safe for heating versus heating the product in its original bottle if your pet prefers the product warm.

All our canine, feline, and avian products are ready to use straight from the bottle. No mixing required! Although concentrated, our equine products are just about as easy to use as the products we have developed for other species. Just add water to the equine concentrate products as directed, and the product is ready to use.

Currently, none of the COOL PET® Fortified Liquid Treats are intended to be energy drinks whatsoever. Energy drinks contain high levels of carbohydrates and sugars as well as other energy enhancing ingredients that are typically not necessary for maintaining healthy pets. COOL PET® Fortified Liquid Treats are intended to provide specifically targeted nutrients not found in typical pet feeds and that taste like a treat to your pet.
